Christmas Cakepops

My Mum asked me to bake cupcakes for Christmas dessert so I immediately thought of Bakerella (whom I've blogged about before) and whether or not she would have Christmas themed cakepops up yet. Well she does! And they look so cute!

Cupcake Party

I discovered Fantastic Toys awhile ago when on one of my etsy binges and thought the retro, handmade toys were pretty cute. Then I forgot about them for awhile until Sticky Kitten posted on them a few days ago. I'd contemplated a baby pink deer during my first encounter with the toys, but now there are cupcakes! 

They are so adorable! I wanted to buy them for my boyfriend's neice for christmas or my room, but Tim (the extraordinarily talented creator of the toys) isn't sellling them at his etsy store but has posted the design templates on his Fantastic Toys blog and is encouraging people to make their own decorated cupcakes and upload photos to a special flickr account that he has created for the Cupcake Party!

Rad. Except I've never sewed anything ever. Still I'm determined to have cute toy cupcakes even if I have to make them myself! 

I Want Cakepops!

So I was looking up Halloween cupcake ideas (because that's the sort of thing I do when I'm avoiding my essays) and I found Bakerella, an amazing baking blog.

Bakerella makes cake pops, as in cake lollipops! I'd never heard about these before, but I want to make some so bad! They look amazing. I hope she doesn't mind me posting some photos of them, but they are just too cute. To see more of her baking visit Bakerella. Yum!

The Sweetest Sounds In Town

There's something about cupcakes. I don't know whether it's the bite sized factor, it could be the decorations and icing, or maybe it's how cute they look all stacked up together. Whatever it is it makes me want to save photos of them for my screensaver. So naturally I love these kitsch iPod speakers. Yummy!
