Daisy Chain

Image and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPic

All of a sudden I really like daisies. Don't know why? Maybe it's the subliminal brainwashing of my desktop backgroup (a collage from Russh magazine showing many a daisy amongst the 60's imagery). Or maybe it's since I impulse bought my daisy necklace.

Anyway, I think I like Peaches Geldof's daisy chain tattoo. Am I losing my mind? I wouldn't ever want a tattoo that big but a small daisy chain could be cute.

Maybe it's a bit early to get my new love of daisies inked onto my body. A Dior ring could be less permanent and painful!

Miss Dior Cherie: Sofia's Cut

Yesterday I had a couple of friends over to bake cupcakes (they were delicioussss!) and we watched this extended version of the Miss Dior Cherie ad on loop, whilst looking for apartments in Paris. As my friend Amy said, "This girl is living the dream".

May I Present... Miss Dior Cherie!

Finally I found Sophia Coppola's advertisement for Miss Dior Cherie! I must admit I was hoping for a bit more. It's cute but over so quickly! Hopefully there is a longer version or at least a better quality one. Enjoy!

Miss Dior Cherie

Sofia Coppola. Miss Dior Cherie. Paris. Balloons. Brigette Bardot Song in French.

I think I just died. I love everything about this campaign! If I didn't already have the perfume I would be at the shops in a second.

The print ads have been around for awhile but Sofia's television advertisement screened during Gossip Girl a few nights ago. So far it has not surfaced on the net, and the anticipation is killing me!

Solid Scent

I have a bit of a thing for perfume and particularly love it if one of my perfumes is released as a solid scent, which Chanel did with Coco Mademoiselle. There is something romantic and classic about these little compacts that I find really appealing.

So I was looking up solid perfumes and found a site dedicated to the collection of Estee Lauder solid perfume compacts. These compacts are so kitsch and bejewelled, and are at times just plain weird. I thought they were interesting enough to share...

All of these compacts are from Lisa's collection at solidperfume.com
