First pics of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland have hit the internets..
The film began shooting a few days ago in Cornwall, England. It does look Burtonesque, a bit dark and muted. I can only imagine what it will look like after post-production get their hands on the footage.
Alice is being played by newcomer Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska. It is being reported that Burton's best bud and frequent collaborator Johnny Depp will co-star as the Mad Hatter. Awesome. Helena Bonham Carter is also rumoured to be involved. Hmmm. I wonder who she will play? My pick is either the Queen or Cheshire Cat.
The film is set for release in 2010. Can't wait!
